MY REVIEW

I am not a huge fan of bar soap.  It leaves my dry skin itch and usually leaves a film on your skin after rinsing it off.  If I had my choice, I would always have liquid soap in my shower.  There are times though that bar soap is cheaper and easier to travel with on vacations.

This soap has a light fragrance to it that isn't overwhelming and could actually use a boost in fragrance.  It lathers up fairly well, but again, it leaves a film that I can feel on my skin after drying off.  It didn't dry my skin out as bad as other bar soaps, but it didn't leave it soft and smooth either.

For this particular soap brand, I would say that it is in the fair range.  It gets the job done, but not something I would use on a regular basis.

MY REVIEW

When you first pop the cap open on this new body wash from Caress, you can instantly be rewarded with the "juicy" fragrance of pink grapefruit.  I am sure the Sun-Kissed Lily fragrance is in there somewhere, but my nose zeroed in on the grapefruit.  It smelled amazing!  So for the smell side of the product I give it an A! 

As for lathering - or suds - I give it a B.  It did lather up, but not quite as much as I would have liked.  I tried it in cold and hot water to see if the temperature would make much of a difference in soap suds and the result was it didn't make much of a difference. 

For cleaning and getting the grime off your skin, I would give it a C.  Yes it gave my skin a clean feel to it when I used it.  After drying off and waiting for about an hour, my skin did start to get that dry feeling.  It wasn't too bad since I normally have dry skin anyway, but I would recommend a lotion being applied to your skin after the shower.

Overall, I would say the best feature about Caress Juicy Escape is the smell.

MY REVIEW
Let's start with the basics.
Scent -- Nice smell and not overwhelming to the senses.
Texture -- Glided on smoothly with minimal flaking
Sweat Protection -- Much better than expected.  I wasn't convinced at first that it could do any better than some other brand, but it did do much better than the brand I was using previously.
Odor Protection -- Yes! This does help in preventing body odor from sweating.  Much better than my previous brand.
Stain Protection -- Did not leave a single stain in my shirts.  Not only did it prevent sweat stains in my shirt, but no deodorant marks left either.

Overall, a better choice than my previous brand. I would recommend this one!

MY REVIEW
First of all, Cover Girl is my usual go-to brand of make-up.  It is affordable, reliable, and usually has great variety.  When this new eyeliner became available, I was so excited. I am a huge fan of eyeliner.  They can be used in so many ways to create such drama and spark to your eyes.  Even if I don't want to pull out all the make-up, I at least wear eyeliner and/or mascara.

I loved how the eyeliner glided on so easy.  I have seen others comment on this product stating that it skipped or dragged, but I never had this problem.  What I did find out was that it smeared very easily. If you barely touched it or shed one small tear, this stuff was smearing all over the place.  It wasn't long before this eyeliner gave the raccoon eyes that you usually get with mascara.  Even though it smeared easy, it was hard to get off with makeup remover!  Instead of being easy to just wash or wipe off, it just continued to smear everywhere. It was a mess and time consuming!

While I am still a huge fan of Cover Girl cosmetics, I wasn't a fan of this product.  Give it a pass and find a different eyeliner to use.

MY REVIEW:

To say I was a little curious about this product is an understatement.  I was having a hard time accepting the fact that it could be used for so many of the different things they were claiming. Something I could use for my hair and skin care could also use for baking and cooking? Really? Okay, I ended up caving because I just had to know if it would be worth it and actually could be used for it all.

SKIN CARE: I have serious dry skin. So serious that it looks like I have cold chills all the time. My skin is rough, dry and red especially on my arms and legs.  I have tried so many products for my dry skin only to be disappointed by the bottom of the bottle or jar.  I gave this product two weeks and my skin does feel softer. The redness has diminished a little bit, but not altogether.  It was a little greasy at first, but it wasn't so bad with the less you use. Less is more when it comes to the skin care with this product. I would give it a B for skin care.

HAIR CARE: I used this once for my hair. I followed the directions but found I was not satisfied with it as a hair care product.  I am really particular about what I use on my hair. While it wasn't horrible for my hair, I won't use it again for that use just because of how picky I am. I would give it a C for hair care.(for personal preference)

COOKING and BAKING: I tried using this for cooking and found it to be almost as good as using margarine or butter.  There was a slight difference in taste and use, but again it is all about personal preference. Everyone tastes things differently.  Easy to use as well. I gave it a B for cooking and baking.

SUPPLEMENT: No rating as I did not use it as this.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product.  While some uses were better than others, I think it boils down to personal preference in some areas and other areas it worked wonderfully.  The price is great considering you get a full jar of 15 fl. oz. to use.  It does go a long way so you get quite a bit of product for a long run trial.

When I received this product for review from the Amazon Vine Program, I was excited about using it.

I recently revamped my make-up stash and I was getting tired of having to do serious scrubbing to get the makeup off.  I have very dry skin and it also has ruddy looking cheeks that make me look like I am blushing all the time.  After using this product for three days, I wanted to share my experience with this product.

1.  It took the makeup off with ease.  No need to scrub hard, just wipe in circles and it comes off fairly easily.

2. When the makeup was off my face, I used the other side of the wiping pad to smooth over it and it left a softer feel to my skin.

  

3. These packs of 30 are actually a great price on Amazon right now. 

$5.99 for a package of thirty wipes. -- plus they leave your skin soft.

4.  They are perfect for sensitive skin. My cheeks are not only ruddy in color all the time, but these didn't aggravate it further.  It actually helped soothe those areas and softened the dry spots while removing the makeup.  

Depending on how much makeup you wear, I was able to use one pad for the eye and face area. I don't wear mascara so I can't say one way or another about its performance removing it. 

Overall this is a brand that I would use again and again.  The price is fair and worth it.

PRODUCT REVIEW:

My husband suffers with seasonal allergies and works in the road department.  He is constantly out in the dust, and allergy causing culprits.  His eyes kept getting itchy and burning, so he asked me to pick up some Visine allergy drops to try.

Well, for $7.99 a bottle, it wasn't worth it! The price was too high and the product didn't help with the discomfort caused by allergies. We had high hopes for the product since it was from a well known eye drop company, but it flopped big time.

MY THOUGHTS:

When my mom gave me this as a gift, I was jumping up and down because I have wanted it since it came out.  The scent is so girly and romantic.  The lotion leaves your skin feeling luxurious and smelling lovely.  The perfume is a sheer delight when you put it on.  AVON has come up with wonderful smelling perfumes before, but this one takes the cake.  I would definitely buy this product when mine runs out.  I will have to stock up on it though, because my youngest daughter is already loving it!

MY REVIEW:

White Tea Anti-Aging Face Wash- This foaming facial cleanser was heaven as soon as I opened it. The smell is amazing and after using it to wash my face, I fell in love with it even more.  It left my face with a clean feeling that regular soap and water cannot even compare to.  Immediately after using it the first time, I could already feel how softer my face felt. I could actually tell that my face was clean. PRICE: $39

Anti-Wrinkle Night Recovery- I found out that a little of this product goes a long way. You don't need a lot of it at one time so the product lasts longer than some of the store bought brands.  I used it after I used the White Tea Face Wash and it left my face feeling even softer!  I love this stuff! After several uses my face seems to look better and feel better. I have combination skin and this stuff evened it out.  I can feel the difference this product is making on my face! PRICE: $80

Organic Anti-Photoaging SPF 30- At first when I used this product, I wasn't sure about it. It does have a tint to it, but you can't tell really once it's on. It does give you a glow, which is very nice in the cold winter months. If you use this product, it feels much better on your face if you use moisturizer first.  It feels wonderful all day long without leaving you feel like you are wearing a mask. PRICE: $68

My overall opinion of these products are excellent! They are well worth the money, and a little bit goes a long way! It will last awhile, but will start working immediately! I would definitely buy from this company in the future!

Chapstick Moisturizer Review

My husband and I have been having some problems with chapped lips, especially since we have had nothing but severe fog days. His lips were cracked and sore and mine were starting to get the same way. So I browsed the chapstick section of the store and found this 3 pack of Moisturizer Chap Stick. The price was a great deal and it had SPF15 that my hubby needs working outside all day.

As soon as we put it on our lips we had instant relief! It soothed the sore and burning feeling from cracks and didn't have a bad taste at all that some can have. What is great is that they come in all different kinds of flavors! I think next time I will be buying the vanilla mint because I LOVE vanilla.

My overall ratings for this product is excellent! It works, it heals, and the price was great for people on a budget!
