REVIEW: Sarah McLachlan Laws of Illusion

I have always enjoyed the sweet and inspiring voice of Sarah McLachlan.  She just has that voice that can lift your emotions and make you tune out everything else except her unique voice.  Her songs always have so much emotion and meaning in them that it is hard not to like them.  With her new CD Laws of Illusion, Sarah once again brings that amazing voice and wonderful song. The tracks on the CD were amazing and full of rich words that one can only explain as heavenly.  Not only is this CD out in stores now, but she is also touring again! She hasn't had a CD out in 7 years and it was a long time coming.  I have missed her music and can't wait to see what other songs she brings to us in the future!

REVIEW: One EskimO CD

Every once in awhile I come across a band that my daughter listens to that I am intrigued by.  With One EskimO, I found a band that we both enjoy listening to with no arguments!  I like the sound and vocals that this band brings to the table.  It was a refreshing sound that I don't normally listen to, but enjoyed it very much!  A great new CD that would be perfect for teens to enjoy and Mom's to  listen to as well.

INFORMATION:

• One eskimO is a critically-acclaimed English band fronted by singer-songwriter Kristian Leontiou and includes musicians Pete Rinaldi (guitar), Jamie Sefton (bass, horns) and Adam Falkner (drums).  
  

• They currently have the #1 adult alternative song called 'Kandi' which you may have already heard since it's the most played song on all adult rock radio 4 weeks and counting
  

• Billboard Magazine calls One eskimO's self-titled debut album "...catchy, ambient pop." and Los Angeles Times Magazine hails the song "Kandi" “a beautiful, aspirational track.”  The album is available in stores now.
