For some it's a necessary chore, for others a Zen meditation. Whether it's relaxing or required, ironing becomes much easier with Sunbeam's GCSBCS-100 Turbo Steam Master Professional steam iron. Equipped with powerful 1500 watts, the iron heats up quickly and smoothens out wrinkles with the utmost ease. Simply add water, turn the fabric-select dial to the desired fabric setting and it's ready to go. Combine professional results with on-the-go convenience with the new Sunbeam Touch Up and Go Handheld Iron. It is compact and lightweight yet no match for even the toughest wrinkles. It is great for quick touch-ups and more and does not even require an ironing board. Dual ceramic soleplates allow 2 sides to be ironed simultaneously to cut ironing time in half. Easily access tight spots like pockets and collars and perfect for cuffs, hems, pleats and lapels or creasing pants and shirts. The 15 minute automatic shut-off feature offers added safety and peace of mind. Touch Up and Go includes 3 adjustable temperature selections for synthetic/silk, wool/rayon and cotton/linen to accommodate a variety of garments. The extra long 10' power cord provides an extended reach for added convenience.
Let me start by saying that ironing in my household is a rare thing. I hate to do it and I hate to even think about it. If it weren't for work clothes that need it, I would probably not even own an iron. Since my work clothes do need to look presentable though, I decided to give this product a try.
Who thought it would be an amazing idea to make the water reservoir hard to see through? Did they think it would be a cool joke to make it hard to see how much space you have left to add the water? That was a major fail in the design department. They might want to rethink that design flaw and fix it for the next models that come out. Plus once you do get the water level at the right spot, it leaks whenever you use it. The steam setting was horrible. After the third use, it quit steaming and even heating properly.
Overall this product just reaffirms my stance on hating to iron. It made a chore turn into a nightmare.
