After several attempts to get my butt in gear, I decided to make a little to do list! You see, I am a procrastinator! I came by it honest because my Dad is just as bad. His motto is always "I'll do it tomorrow!".
Well, I admit that I look at something that needs to be done and I think....
"Oh, I have time to do it in a bit before the kids get home from school."
Which always leads to:
"Dang. The kids are home now. I will have to do it this weekend."
Which also leads to:
"It's the weekend. I just want to relax!"
Hey, don't judge me! You know how it is!
*stares at each of you*
So after stopping by the following blog:
I decided to snag her idea and use it for my own inspiration. Now I am not making the same type of list because frankly, I don't have much time for crafts anymore. So my list is going to have a different feel to it. Things on it will also include things for my ever procrastinating supportive husband to do as well. Let's see if I can actually get him to help me out. Honestly, he is pretty good at helping me out when needed. I just need to bring out the whip every once in awhile and get him moving. *Love ya honey!*
I will post the link to my TO-DO list on my sidebar along with updates on how things are going! Lucky readers-- you get to see my butt get in gear!
*evil laugh*
I will also add some more stuff to it as needed.
So without further rambling -- or is it procrastination again?-- here is the TO-DO list!
1. Read and donate the stack of 70 magazines I have on my video cabinet!
--seriously, they are like a year old and I really want to get them done. I want to snag the recipes and donate the rest to our library.
2. Go through the bathroom cabinet.
--I stash everything in there. Extra hair care products, makeup, junk. It is like a bathroom junk drawer!
3. Clean out and organize my pots and pans cupboard.
--Oh my gawd! I can't even find my recipe books in there or lids to my tupperware. Yeah, I am soooo organized. I was a pan and throw it in there. I know I have lids to my pans, but I can't seem to find them buried beneath the extra trash bags, cookie sheets and other useless items that people actually use in a kitchen.
4. Organize my bookshelves in my home library.
--You would think since my main blog is a book review blog that I would have this already done. So not true. After I read a book, I either donate it or keep it if it is really good. In turn I have books stacked everywhere! I need some organization in there soon or I might be buried by an avalanche of books.
5. Go through my youngest daughters closet and get rid of clothes she has outgrown.
--She is going on 7 years old now and I think the last time I went through her clothes was when she was 4 or 5? Sad. So very sad. On the weekends she goes to get dressed herself and she comes out in jeans undone that are three inches too short and shirts that are showing off belly that makes her look like a street walker. I admit, she has even tried to put on shoes that are three sizes too small. I tend to just push the old things to the back and she has suffered over this quirk of mine. LOL
6. Gather the things that need to return to the garage and get them out there!
--You know that area rug that needs to be in storage, the steam cleaner, the cat litter (since the cats are gone now), the drill case, the extra tools, etc....*gives the evil eye to the hubby*
*MORE TO COME*
